The Bayerische Staatsoper is pleased to be able to offer its viewers an On-demand-weekend with Kirill Petrenko’s interpretations of Tannhäuser and Parsifal on 6 and 7 October!
Romeo Castellucci’s 2017 production of Tannhäuser features artists like Klaus Florian Vogt in the lead, alongside Anja Harteros as Elisabeth and Christian Gerhaher as Wolfram von Eschenbach. Gerhaher also sings in Pierre Audi’s interpretation of Parsifal from the 2018 Munich Opera Festival, also starring Jonas Kaufmann (Parsifal), Nina Stemme (Kundry) and René Pape (Gurnemanz).
